It dosent get any fresher then this… Last night we dropped a few lead up pics to our new GRND hat arriving in the next few weeks. Probably the most technical hat we have produced to date with 3D embroidery front logo, embroidered back logo, brown leather brim, red grid fabric under brim and brown leather snap closure. This hat will be limited to only 25 pieces and retail for only $34.95. Due to the limited release we will be posting a date and time (EST in Australia) that the hats will go online then it’s up to you to go for your life. We will also be doing a giveaway with one hat which could be landing any time in the next few weeks so stay posted for details…

Terry Richardson without a doubt one of the most famous photographers of all time. This guy has a knack for getting people to open up to him, it’s like as soon as you see Terry you throw your inhibitions to the wind and what ever says wants is good to go. It is true what he says in his book Kibosh, “I would never ask anyone to do something I wouldn’t do myself”, if you have seen this book you would know what I mean.

He works with all the most famous celebs which seem like they are more then happy to let there hair down when in his presence, an act I don’t think any other photographer in the world could accomplish. He’s makes an art of getting the most serious people to act a little silly. As well as all this he holds down contracts for all the biggest fashion labels shooting there campaigns and magazine articles so he without a doubt knows his shit.

It is unknown where his sexuality lies. We have heard rumours that he is gay which wouldn’t hold much truth given some of the books he has published which are not too short of being hardcore porn. Mind you it’s not all females he is fornicating with.

Jared Houston really is the man of Africa. This guy loves his country and has the passion to let its voice be heard and contribute to his community. Below is a pic including himself and some underprivileged kids from the area from Ocean View in Cape Town. He really feels like bodyboarding in general is growing in Africa and with a little helping hand will flourish as well as any country. Jared Houston could be a modern day “Rain Maker” bringing hope to those who may have none and bringing excitement into the lives of kids who often find themselves in despair.

So we were digging around in our storage and found a pile of old season tees all boxed up and sitting in a dark dusty corner. Reflecting back on some of the designs and colours you wonder what the hell were you thinking at the time. Then you stop and think how timeless these garments really are. They basically have moulded our company to what it is today and kept us on the path we are on now. Some of them though are that cool you wish you could have it new and fresh in the bag again, for instance the Life tee. This was one of the major designs that no matter how old it gets will still be one of the coolest garments ever produced. Believe it or not there were even brands that tried to make cheap knock offs but nothing ever stood up to what it really stood for. Grand Flavour Life. What an amazing Life!!!!

The Yok is a creative a colourful character. Known world wide for his street art character tuts he has a unique style and passion for “loopy moustaches, seaworthy beards and potato headed rad lads,” as he calls it. Hailing from the most isolated city in the world, Perth. The Yok has been lead around the world by his amazing ability with exhibitions in Berlin, New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Taipei, Beijing, Singapore Bangkok and Hong Kong and now calls Brooklyn, New York home. The Yok first collaborated with Grand Flavour back in our early stages of development creating a design for us around 2005. It’s been 7 years on and both have The Yok and Grand Flavour have grown in leaps and bounds which is why we are eagerly awaiting the realise of our 2nd ever collaboration with Yok.
